McKnight Hockey is currently looking for Division Coordinators for the 2010/2011 season. Applicants must possess strong communication skills and have daily access to e-mail and computers. Basic computer knowledge is an asset. You must be able to commit an average of 30 - 60 minutes per day with the understanding that there will be more time required at the beginning and end of the season as well as specific times throughout the season. i.e. seeding, EMHW, playoffs. This is offset by the slower times in between. Previous Coordinating/Team Management experience is beneficial, but not mandatory. Preference will be given to a division in which your child plays.
Duties are as follows:
• Act as a liaison between the McKnight Board/Head Coordinator and
the Coaches/Managers
• Offer support and direction when required to the team officials
• Handle disputes that can not be resolved at the team level and/or report
incidents to the designated Board Rep
• Participate in discipline meetings should the need arise
• Follow up on requests from the Board/Head Coordinator for forms
and/or information
• Assist the team officials in learning their team page's on the website.
(Instruction will be given to Coordinators prior to the commencement
of the season as each division and team will be given a user name
and log in)
• Ensuring that the team officials complete the information required
on the website.
Once all Coordinators are in place, I will have a meeting to review responsibilities and answer any questions. Guidance will be available to you at all times for questions and concerns through out the season.
